Okay my first one is something I used to say about my guitar...when people think their guitar is broken because they can't do hammer-ons and pull-offs, I use to always complain that it was to do with sustain, really it's just technique.
I also hate, I mean really hate, decent guitar players who know shit about guitars, that really gets me.

I hate when someone is a decent player and they haven't learned the magic of a tuner. Or just don't bother cause it "sounds fine" to them. No it doesn't. Train your ears, man. Holy hell that grinds my gears.

Agreed, it's worse when people do it in gear reviews. Namely, when a damn company like Grestch does it! Do they want to sell guitars????

It pisses me off when you get an obnoxious guitarist that thinks he knows all.. Then you hear him play, and his rig sounds like Indiana Jones being raped by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.

I really hate when some 12 year old in GC is looking at a guitar and makes a complaint about how the guitar is broken, like something aout the neck being warped. So i pick it up in front of them, look at it, say its fine and they get pissed off.
Or when some kids is playing a Laguna or some decent budget brand and cant play, says the brand sucks and never touches it again. I heard some guy say that beside me one day and i picked it up and played some metal, then switched to blues. Pissed the guy off because it was his playing that made it suck. Not the guitar

i dunno how it works now, but back in the day, EVERY impromptu garage jam i ever attended, regardless of who was there, went something like this:
GUITAR A: so... whatta ya wanna play?
GUITAR B: i dunno, what do you usually play?
GUITAR A: ummm...you know, sabbath and stuff priest and stuff...
GUITAR B: ok, how about (insert the most lame obscure song by sabbath or priest here)
GUITAR A: um...i dont know that one how about (insert the 2nd most lame obscure song by sabbath or priest here)
GUITAR B: i know part of that one!
BASS: i don't know that song. you guys know any rush or primus?
DRUMS: DUDE! LED ZEPPLIN RULES!!! LETS PLAY MOBY DICK!!!
GUITAR A: how about paranoid? or livin after midnight?
EVERYONE ELSE: ok!
that used to make me nuts.
