I dont like jamming with people, they always know something different. Then if you have a d-bag drummer, they always say you suck as a guitarist because they think they know more than you do

Actually, more over, it's about if you can jam with them and you enjoy it. It's about friendship of the talents in the room, not the egos.

in 1983 me and some buddies were rockin that garage one night. most of the neighborhood was out in front partying. around midnite we wrapped it up to avoid hassles with the cops. the plan was to move the party into the basement, but lock up the garage and the jam for the night. the drummer got into a stolen station wagon with one of the hangers-on, to make a beer run. they shot down the avenue with their foot to the floor, and failed to make a turn. they hit a bridge support and our drummer died on the scene. he was 16 yrs old. his mother wouldn't let us come to the funeral. his last name, oddly enough, was coffin. some stuff you don't see it comin.

What a bitch. You, as a jam buddy and friend, can say "hey man just hang here and wait for them to get back". But you ain't his keeper to tell him what to and what not to do. That would have pissed me the fuck off and I'd have told her what I thought about that shit.
