I have most of the gear that I actually need to get started gigging again.
The Variax 700 and the POD XT Live are the main components. I've compacted
gear that I'm going to get yet again. I'm going to keep the Line 6 DL4 that
I have and continue using that as my main source of looping, since it will
only see loops made from the guitar, anyway. I already know how to use it
well, too.. So it would be almost stupid to me, to switch formats and have
another learning curve. I'm just going to tear apart my current board rather
than buying all new effects pedals. All I will need to pick up in that
department is another Boss DD3, which I can find used for 60-80 dollars. I
have to pick up 2 smaller loop pedals. DigiTech has come out with the Jam-
man Solo Express pedal. 100 bucks a piece new, so that won't sting too bad.
All that'll be left for the board is a Volume pedal (maybe), my kick drum
box (25 bucks), and my actual pedalboard itself (75 bucks). That will comp-
lete my Guitar/MFX/Pedalboard setup. Then It's a matter of picking up my
small mixer and an 8" active Behringer full range cab for monitors. 300 bu-
cks there. So only about 700 bucks after shipping is what I need to pick
up for my live loop rig. Everything else is a want in my eyes, not a prior-
ity. Hopefully I can dump some more stuff soon. Then I can get to recording
some stuff.. Because as my act is live looping.. I vow all of my recordings
to be just the same.. 1 take live loops. Any way, enough talk, haha. Just
had to get that out.
