Like I said, I'm bored, and in study hall. I'm writing a paper about cultural icons, and I've chosen to write about the stratocaster. What do you guys think? I figure, if I have to write a paper about something, I may as well enjoy it.

The Strat is legendary. First drawn up in 1954 by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares. It has been produced since 1954 to present day, with no halt in production in between. They were only offered in 2-tone sunburst to start out with as well.
