Well I think today I have made the decision to have my own Gilmour strats.
Of course that means taking the red Strat I have now and putting in that Gilmour EMG set.
And then I need to get a black one for the infamous black one of course. I'll probably just get another MIM for that one. The neck and the electronics really do the trick. New bridge wouldn't hurt.
So that is another post. And I think I said guitar. Or did I not say guitar? Guitar. Guitar guitar.

Can't wait to see it man! I'm opting for a set of Lace Mini-Buckers in my Red Strat GUITAR.

I just hope I don't put all this money into them and wind up turning out playing and sounding like SHIT

Definitely try and find clips first. If it means anything to you (I take it you're getting the Gilmore EMG Actives).. The Single Coil Actives actually sound like they have life to them, unlike the Bucker Actives. I'd suggest checking out the GFS Red Actives first, personally. They're gonna sound close.

I bet you won't believe me, but I had intended on getting those. Seeing them the other day and me listening to "On an Island" so much lately kinda added themselves together. Haha.
