So, as some of you may know, my main guitar, and guitar of choice is my Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster. Ive had it for quite a few years now, and it has served me well. I was searching for my first "real" guitar. Making a step up from my squier. I found it on craigslist for the price of a new american standard. I went over to check it out, and it was in mint condition, barely played. I loved the way it played and I still do. Its got a 2 point trem, lsr roller nut, HSS pickup configuration, noiseless pups as well. People give those noiseless pickups a bad rap, but I like em. So I kept them in. I mainly use it for blues, and it does it well, as a strat should. SRV is my main influence as far as blues goes. The guitar has this button on it that they call a "Passing Lane" switch. Basically, what it does, is enable just the humbucker, and bypasses all tone and volume. That is great for getting those Van Halen ish tones. The trem on it is very good for that as well because it always comes back in tune even after a big dive bomb. Its a very versatile instrument. I have loved it since the day I got it. I highly recommend you check one out if you are in the market for something like that.

Does it have coil tap for the bucker? You know, oddly enough, the MIM HH Strat I have is one of the best playing and sounding I've ever payed hands on. And the teen on it stays in tune well also. The dude who sold it to me was an idiot, so it was probably his dad's because it was set up VERY well.

No, no coil tap. But it hasn't troubled me yet.
