I've had my OLP on craigslist for a while, because I don't really need it around here, and I wouldn't mind the cash. A guy just sent me an email wondering if I'd be up to trade for a '76 Strat with a non-original neck. It looks to me like a completely original '76 is worth around $2,000, and I can't imagine that a new neck would take $1,850 off of the price.

Anyone know what might be up here? This seems way too good to be true. Maybe it's a not a fender, or something?

What do you guys think?
