Yea and no. I have played 4-5 Agile electrics (from $200-$600 in value) and they all felt outstanding. They're the kind of guitar that's a pickup upgrade away from being a #1 player. SX, Douglas, Hadean, they're alright. Hadean and SX are more the less entry level. What makes them different is that SX is on the same level as Squier.. There are some GREAT ones out there.. That can be happily upgraded and kept for a long time. Hadean, not so much. Douglas is a middle of the line guitar.. Between SX and Agile in quality. Replace pickups and tuners and It'll be a pretty good guitar. Hope this helps you some.

Yeah, thanks. I just don't know what to get for you guys before my knowledge of guitars that aren't a least 40 years old is poor, haha. I think I'd get you a variax though or a music man. I'm in chat also.

I always refer to the Agile, Douglas, Aria, GFS Brand, Cort.. All as builder brands.. Because they all give you nice base platforms to customize off of.

I heard Cort have intonation issues. Because they use shit Tremolos. They're not even using licensed Floyds or anything. That's their issue. If you get one, expect to change the tremolo and pickups.

I heard Cort have intonation issues. Because they use shit Tremolos. They're not even using licensed Floyds or anything. That's their issue. If you get one, expect to change the tremolo and pickups. sometimes drilling the bridge posts out of alignment or rather at the wrong angle, can do that. in that case you'll never get the guitar intonated no matter what you do, short of filling the holes and re-drilling them. but then the epoxy (i would guess) kills your sustain. but back to the original topic, sort of. i will pick ONE guitar for each of 3, but not based on what i know of them, but rather what i know of that particular guitar. first G-man. i would get this one www.ebay.com/itm/Dillion-DSE-533-Semi-Hollow-Body-Electric-Guitar-Coil-Taps-HSC-Trans-Cherry-/170941476322?pt=Guitar&hash=item27cce7ede2 and have these pups put in it: www.sweetwater.com/images/closeup/350-IM57RGH_detail3.jpg in the hopes that the tonal change would inspire him 2nd, balls. he would get this bcrich.com/handcrafted/subpages/guitars40th/HMOCKK40YA/imageLrg.jpg because he appreciates refinement and comfort but this would give also power and speed. then i think sam would get this: littlebrotherblues.com/Gear/Dobro-Overhaul/P6094506.JPG then he could inflict himself on anyone, anywhere, at any time, except when there's lightning.

Those are two great, great pics. I've always wanted to try out a fire bird, which model is that? The new V's look interesting. Andy Gabbard of The Buffalo Killers plays one, he gets a great tone out of it!
