Ryan and I talked about this at one point but i thought we should give this a go again. Maybe with enough yes's we can have one.
Ryan commented on the fact that it would be nice to keep gear in a group of people we know, not a stranger.

I like the idea of trading, but maybe not buying/selling. Only because I wouldn't want to see people becoming a member on here, only to try to sell their guitar, and then leave.

I like the idea of it. I just recently joined Marshall forum and they have a section for it. Seems like a good idea to me.

I feel, it doesn't have a place on the forum, or really any forum for that matter. Unless it's on a specialist forum such as Cigar Box Nation, there is no need due to the abundance of sites such as: Ebay, craiglist, Gumtree, Kijiji, ect, ect.

Here's my input.
I think there IS a place for it here.. Just not right now. Further down the road when we have more members, yes. I'd personally feel more comfortable selling gear to someone I've talked to and chatted with a bit on a forum than some random stranger from eBay. Also, what I can do.. Is make a Buy/Sell/Trade section that is NOT viewable unless you're a member on the forum. That way we don't have people joining just to post on it. Additionally, I can make people sign up to be a part of the section.. And have to verify them to allow them in. This would let us set a minimum post limit to be able to post in the section.. Which means that the member would have to spend some time here, first.. Thus allowing us to get to know them first.
