Deadly live loop rig.
Out of the Variax 700 into the Variax Power Footswitch.. To the Boss ME-70. Stereo output from the ME-70 to the stereo input of the Boss RC-300. Stereo output of the Boss RC-300 to the stereo inputs of the Rapco Stereo Direct Box. Use the Audio-Technica Headphones through the headphone output of the Boss RC-300 to monitor everything live as you go. All you need to do is run a mic through the mic input on the Boss RC-300 and perhaps a drum machine through the aux input, and you're ready to go. The Boss RC-300 acts as its own 3 channel mixer. Additionally, you can run something else (in addition to the inputs on the Boss RC-300) through the aux input on the Boss ME-70, allowing you to run 4 instruments at once.
Note, that the Boss RC-300 Looper has recording capabilities through the aux input as well, so you can also run an actual instrument or a drum pad to loop your own drum beats through it, too. Also note, that the aux input signal from the Boss ME-70 remains as a dry clean signal no matter what kind of effects you are running on the unit, so this makes it an optimum selection for a drum pad, bass, or any other instrument that you would not be applying effects to.
