Is it possible to take a strat pickguard and put it on a body that isn't a strat? Kind of a straight forward question I guess. I was planning on getting a loaded pickguard, but I don't know if I want to exactly make a strat body.
I guess, I know it's "possible". But has anyone tried, or even seen it?

If you can make it work, go for it. It does look a little odd, but it is unique and I kinda dig it.

I prefer no pick guard honestly. Honestly, i agree. But I don't want to have to route a guitar from the back right now. It's more work than I want to do.

Ibanez and Teles are the only thing you're really gonna find them retrofitted to. And other Strat style guitars.

I just think that you can get more raw sexy wood without a pickguard, even with a strat
